Where We Meet

We meet on the first Monday of the month (except holidays and December) in the fourth floor HR training room at Chesapeake City Hall, 306 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322.

Our next regular meeting will be January 3, 2022 via Zoom from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. We will start the year with an overview of the educational programs of the National Association of Parliamentarians by our District 2 Director, Dr. Cynthia Mayo, PRP.

Dr. Mayo will introduce the NAP Body of Knowledge. Dr. Mayo is a past VSAP President and a current officer. She teaches NAP programs, including a recent session on the Body of Knowledge at the national level.

Our annual Parliamentary Institute is Saturday, February 26, 2022, via Zoom from 10:00—11:30 A.M.
Our presenter is  NAP’s National Parliamentarian, Tim Wynn, PRP. Tim is a dynamic instructor and a brilliant parliamentarian. You will not want to miss this rare opportunity to hear him teach!

Tim is president of a consulting company called Perfect Rules Inc. He is currently head parliamentarian of the U S Conference of Mayors and previously served as Editor of The National Parliamentarian and President of the Florida State Association of Parliamentarians.
The title of his presentation is Answering Parliamentary Questions. Please join us and please invite others.
